NBA News: Reveal Miami Heat Completes Roster with Signing of 31 years old shooting guard From Wizard…

Miami Heat Completes Roster by Adding Delon Wright

The Miami Heat finalized its roster with the signing of guard Delon Wright on Sunday, a move that had been anticipated since Wright reached a buyout agreement with the Washington Wizards, enabling him to enter free agency on Friday. However, Wright needed to clear waivers before the Heat could officially sign him.

With the addition of Wright, the Heat now has the NBA maximum of 15 players on standard contracts. Additionally, the team has three players on two-way contracts, the maximum allowed.

Wright, 29, is known for his defensive skills and ability to create scoring opportunities, which is expected to bolster the Heat’s backcourt rotation.

With the NBA trade deadline passing on February 8, the Heat’s roster can only be adjusted through free agency for the remainder of the season. Any future additions to the roster would require releasing a player to create space.
