Breaking: City Chiefs Parade Shooter Lyndell Mays Made a Shocking Statement Court Docs: Details Emerge on Deadly Melee…

Alleged shooter Lyndell Mays, involved in the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade violence, reportedly told police he acted foolishly. Court documents reveal that Mays, along with Dominic Miller, engaged in a heated exchange with a group before gunfire erupted, resulting in murder charges against them.

Mays, accompanied by two friends, began arguing with the group, as per a probable cause statement. Surveillance footage allegedly shows Mays approaching the group aggressively, pointing his finger at them. When Mays pulled out his gun and chased an unarmed individual, others drew their weapons, leading to a chaotic exchange of gunfire.

Reportedly, Mays admitted to firing his gun first, fearing for his female friend’s safety. He claimed the group’s threats made him believe they intended to harm him. Mays described his actions as “stupid” and regretted his decision to shoot, especially in a crowded area with children present.

The confrontation quickly escalated, with several individuals brandishing weapons, including Miller, whose shot tragically killed 43-year-old Lisa Lopez Gavlan. The incident left 24 people, including 12 children, injured. Mays himself sustained injuries and was interviewed by police while in the hospital.

These developments follow the arrest of two juveniles on gun and resisting arrest charges. The details emerging from the investigation paint a picture of a celebratory event turned violent, with tragic consequences.
