AC Milan have set a hefty price tag of around €100m on their left-back Theo Hernández, potentially deterring any club interested in acquiring the Frenchman, including Bayern Munich. With Bayern facing interest in their star left-back Alphonso Davies from Real Madrid, Theo Hernández has emerged as a possible alternative.
Theo, brother of former Bayern player Lucas Hernández, could soon discuss a contract extension with Milan, as his current deal runs until 2026, with earnings of €4m net per year. Milan is keen on renewing his contract and is planning to engage in talks with his agent in the coming months to re-negotiate the terms.
Bayern, however, might be tempted to pursue Theo Hernández if they fail to retain Davies. The situation mirrors Bayern’s dilemma with Davies, as both clubs face the challenge of securing their respective left-backs amid transfer interest. Despite Milan’s efforts to keep Theo, the lure of Bayern Munich and the possibility of a more lucrative deal could sway the player’s decision.
