The Cardinals’ defensive line struggled last season, allowing an average of 143 rushing yards per game and only recording 33 sacks. Stewart could provide much-needed support in clogging the middle of the defensive line, potentially drawing double teams and freeing up opportunities for other players to make plays. His presence could significantly improve the Cardinals’ run defense, a critical area of concern.
As Stewart prepares to enter free agency for the first time in his career, acquiring him could be a strategic move for the Cardinals.
