An Insider Reveal Browns Biggest Hope is Bears 24 years old as Potential Quarterback as Replacement For Deshaun Watson…

The Cleveland Browns could be eyeing a quarterback change this offseason, with Chicago Bears’ Justin Fields emerging as a potential target to replace Deshaun Watson. Fields, the 11th overall pick in the 2021 draft, faces uncertainty in Chicago due to the Bears’ potential interest in drafting USC’s Caleb Williams with the first overall pick.

ESPN analysts and insiders, including Seth Walder, have suggested that the Browns should consider trading for Fields. Despite the challenges of Watson’s contract and the lack of a first-round pick, Walder believes that acquiring Fields, who is still on his rookie contract, could be a more viable option to upgrade the quarterback position. Fields showed promise in his 13 games last season, passing for 2,562 yards and 16 touchdowns, with an additional 657 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

However, the Bears’ intentions regarding Fields remain unclear. While there is speculation about Fields’ availability, Bears president Kevin Warren has expressed support for the young quarterback, praising his talent and work ethic. The Bears have not revealed their draft plans, but NFL insider Ian Rapoport suggests that it would take a significant offer to persuade them to part with the first overall pick.

Meanwhile, the Browns remain committed to Watson despite his underwhelming performance since joining the team in 2022. Watson has struggled with injuries and inconsistent play, raising questions about his long-term viability as the Browns’ starting quarterback. Despite this, Browns GM Andrew Berry expressed confidence in Watson, emphasizing the need to keep him healthy and build a competitive team around him.

Watson is currently recovering from shoulder surgery and is expected to be ready for training camp. The Browns hope that with improved health and support, Watson can fulfill his potential and lead the team to championship success.
