AC Milan is gearing up to bolster its defensive lineup this summer, following a frustrating January transfer window where several targets slipped through their grasp. The club has a host of potential candidates in mind to fortify their backline.
One standout target is Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino. Although Milan tried to secure his services in January, Torino’s president, Urbano Cairo, was adamant about retaining him, demanding a steep fee for a mid-season transfer. However, Buongiorno could be available for negotiations in the upcoming transfer window, with Milan expected to be at the forefront of clubs vying for the Italian international.

Although a deal seemed imminent in January, Stade Brest’s Lillian Brassier’s potential move to Milan fell through due to the French club’s reluctance to agree to a loan deal. On the other hand, Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham and Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth could be viable options for Milan as they both become free agents this summer.
